It Happened- Mo(a)rning

It Happens- The title of my blog. sometimes i think why it cant happen and at others why it happens.

This is the series of “It happens” in my life!

A cool and breezy morning (my bed is the closest to the window of our room)… turning over on my bed, thinking about how i’m going to spend this day. The one day of the week that no software geek can miss, it’s Sunday… the very thought of sunday morning made me happy.

Should i wake up or not ? No need to wake up so early. The words of my mom that i used to hear whenever i go home. Continue your brisk sleep :)

By this time my mind had reached the beta stage of sleep. Thoughts came to my mind and vanished instantly. Heard sounds that i have never heard before.

Come on da, It’s Sunday. A bit more rolling on the bed can do no harm.

Suddenly, a startling sound came from beside the pillow… My cell was ringing….

Attended the call, trying to retrieve my normal voice and said “heelow”, heard my mom’s voice on the other end.

The next few words she spoke startled me.

“Enna office-ku pogalaya ?”

chennai roads — Humph!!!

September 28, 2009 by amrssn

hi guys,

happy 2 c u visit my blog after a long time…

my nxt post is on chn roads n streets…  i have given many thoughts on y roads in chnr in such a pathetic state???

Public Ignorance- yes, this is the first reason that comes to my mind for the state of roads in r own ‘Singara Chennai’ . why should i worry if the roads r in such state, my concern is about my life and so called family. Even if some souls give a thought abt this, their response is ” The corporation will take care of this and its their duty to lay roads properly”. For whom are they laying these roads, its for Us includes office ppl, school going chldrn, granpa n granma gng for a walk and fort everyday usage. can v lead a life without stepping out of r house?

Govt Indifference- When ppl arent concerned about their place, why should we (govt) ?

should i blame the govt? No, the govt is by, for and to the People. so when people are fine with these roads, so am I (govt) Except for a few VVIPS. Its only when these VVIPS r travelling on the roads, then i find a difference. All of a sudden, the roads are cleaned and properly laid. There are white patches on either side of the road (dont know wat these r, but something related 2 hygiene).

Results- This daily mode of transportation is a necessity for everyone,  and it becomes a havoc for everyone including u and me during the ill-timed rainy season in r city.  Potholes, patchups with mud and uncleaned rain water drainage becomes a nuisance.

Solution- We (Public) as tax payers of r country esp the IT ppl, can atleast form a group and take a petition from r Neighbours and frnds and suggest the concerned person to do something.

Or We can invite atleast one of the VVIPS to our place,  which I hope will resolve the problem automatically :)

Roads are a symbol of representation of our city to an outsider and not temples and forts which have become a part of our past. Think abt the present or never can India become as Abdul Kalam dreamt in 2020.

Suggestions are welcome to my mail id.

Firstly it was a different kind of experience for me while watching the movie… sitting at the last seat near the door :P …..but then it was sort of nice too…..

Now abt the movie : the cast was really gud except the director had taken care not to show the heroines eyes from a straight angle… the settings were realistic as In the 1980s….. the dialogues were apt to the scenes n can b easily understood by chennaites J

One particular scene I liked very much in the movie: When the hero gets stabbed by the goondas, he doesn’t feel the pain in his body but we can c it in his eyes…. Tat particular scene had a deep impact on me….

Kudos to director ‘Parama’ (m.Sasikumar)……

The impact the movie had on the audience was fantastic…. Ther was absolute silence in the theatre and every1 was engrossed in watching it rather than giving silly comments….. The impact on me ??? hmmm……. i wil just say it in one line…. “ I didn’t want to talk abt the movie to anyone after seeing it ” J
